It’s been a unique couple of years to say the least, but as we hit the end of the year, we thought it only right to end off with a bang and another online rum event!

We have put together a new rum event for you all to enjoy from the comfort of your homes with us and other rum fans. For this event we give you 6 rums to sample and the ingredients to make a cocktail as well!
Our first brand to be showcased will be Ron Carupano and we will have the 6 and the 12 in your packs! We are delighted to have Philip Gillier Krizanic who is the European Sales Director for Carupano, join us to talk to you all about the brand!
With more than 250 years of history in Venezuela, Destileria Carúpano is a family owned Hacienda located on the Caribbean coast of Macarapana in the state of Sucre. In 1954 the Morrison family bought the bicentenary Hacienda Altamira, abandoned since 1901, after the death of Thomas Massiani, one of the owners who strived to give the property the highest prestige and growth it had seen since 1840. Destilería Carúpano remains a family business and has, thus far, been administered by four generations of that same family.
We will have two of the range from Ron Carupano. These are the Reserva 6 and the Reserva 12.
Ron Añejo Carúpano Reserva 6 Especial is a singular and attractive rum, a blend of 2 to 6 years old rums aged in sealed white American oak barrels without replacement of annual angel’s share, bottled at 40% ABV. Beautiful light amber color, with orange glints. Aromas of alcohol, white flowers, molasses, saltiness and a touch of wood. Balanced in the mouth, molasses, raisins, nuts, pleasant salinity, character and average permanence in the palate.
Ron Añejo Carúpano Reserva 12 Exclusiva is an intriguing premium rum, a blend of 4 to 12 years old rums aged in sealed white American oak barrels without replacement of annual angel’s share, bottled at 40% ABV. Beautiful dark amber color. Sophisticated aromas of red flowers, caramel, honey, maple, plum, cinnamon and cloves. Unctuous in the mouth, elegant memories of maple and prunes, quince, medium to long permanence in the palate, balanced and delicious.
